If I could rate the Indigo Inn a "15" or more I could!! This is our second trip from Montana to Charleston and the Inn for three nights. You always hope that your memories are as good as you think they are. The Inn totally exceeded our expectations a second time. One truly feels as though you are returning "home' when you arrive. From the ample breakfast and coffee, to the morning and afternoon snacks with sweet iced tea and cucumber cold water, to the wine, beer and appetizers at 5 in the atrium, to the milk and cookies in the evening you are totally welcomed and cared for. The rooms are beautiful with antiques and wonderful beds and linens to the complimentary high end toiletries, and comfortable lounge chairs. The atrium with flowers and fountain is a grand place to relax, eat, read or just make new friends. The Inn is in walking distance to wonderful restaurants and sightseeing. Our favorites in the neighborhood being Hanks and Henry's and then we go to Pearlz on Bay and ride the wonderful Charleston Bike taxis. In fact we use the yellow bike taxi to go any when we do not want to walk . What a nice way to see things slowly and up close along with a conversation with our "peddler". The Inn does have parking in the lot if you have a car as well as an elevator to the upper floors. I cannot say enough about our stay and so look forward to another visit. Thank you Indigo and especially Jamel and Ethan who answered all our questions and always greeted us with a smile.

One of the nicest hotel experiences we have had - wonderful hotel, far exceeded our expectations. The service received was exceptional, and a massive shout out to Robert on the front desk - nothing was too much trouble and gave us some great information on where to eat, and where to walk to experience the wonderful architecture and attractions Charleston has to offer. The location is perfect and is in easy walking distance to some great restaurants, bars, architecture, the market and shops. The customer service was some of the best we have ever experienced and we especially liked the Cheese and Wine every evening, the 8pm cookies and the wonderful courtyard where you could eat breakfast. If we ever visit Charleston again, we will look no further than the Indigo Inn to stay - truly loved it here.

The staff is amazing! Every one we encountered was pleasant, polite, helpful. Especially the young lady at the front desk who was so very nice! We stayed the night we got off a cruise, and got to the Inn around 9:30 AM. We expected to just store our luggage since it was so early, but she found a room that was unoccupied and clean and checked us right in! The wine and cheese reception in the evening was very nice, and while it was a continental breakfast, the pastries were fresh from a local bakery, the coffee hot and good, and a toaster to warm up the English muffins, toast or waffles. Oh, and the location is perfect! A block from the City Market! We will definitely be back!

The Indigo Inn is located easy walking distance to just about all the main attractions. And walking is a key word because this is an incredible city to view up close. The room was spacious and comfortable and I can't say enough about the staff. They were to a person all helpful and welcoming, especially Margaret who greeted us at 2 a.m.(!) when we arrived late due to flight delays. The inn's center courtyard was lovely and ideal for eating the very expansive "continental" breakfast and for enjoying the inn's complimentary wine hours in the late afternoon (the latter a generous food and wine spread). In short, if we ever return to Charleston, the Indigo is where we're staying.

Receptionist(s) and cleaning service were absolutely superb in every aspect of our time there. Our location was in the center of the downtown area allowing my husband and I to walk to any attraction easily (i.e. market, shops, food, waterfront). Our room was perfect in size, comfort, and cleanliness. Continental breakfast from 7AM - 10AM, 5PM was so wonderful as wine, locally made beer, fruit tray, cheese, crackers and locally made dips provided in their quaint reception room (outdoor garden available) that allowed my husband and I to meet other guests staying there like a mini social event. We highly recommend to everyone to stay at the Indigo!
